"Oil Sponge" takes literally seconds to remove
spills of petrol, kerosene, diesel,jet fuels, metal-working
fluid, crude oil, black fuel oil, gas oil, hydraulic oil etc
and many chemicals-leaving a non slip surface in most circumstances.
"Oil Sponge" is a heavy powder made from reclaimed
cotton fibres, pecan pith and 162,000,000,000 hydrocarbon
eating microbes per bag. These microbes double every 20 minutes
when active. "Oil Sponge" encapsulates and prevents leaching
of contaminated liquids up to saturation point. In simple
terms "Oil Sponge"
turns oil into water vapours, carbon dioxide and fatty acids.
It reduces the volatility of flammable spills and is safe
around agriculture and livestock.
Laboratory tests have shown it to be up to
8 times more absorbent then "clay" type products
and in conjunction with a Spill
Station is recyclable.
In the U.K several hundred businesses from
"Blue Chip" to small garages are already using our

Demonstrations were recently given at the
conference/exhibition of the British Oil Spill Control Association
(BOSCA) at Warwick, where delegates also showed interest in
the benefits of Bioremediation. This is the restoring of a
surface or object to a condition that is not harmful to plant
or animal life. The major benefit of bioremediation is the
transformation and not transportation of the contamination.
The cost of transformation is often lower and usually requires
little specialised or expensive equipment. Bioremediation
is the New Tool in dealing with hydrocarbon based contamination
in this environmentally conscious world we live in.
